We believe in the benefits of having an appropriate allocation of one's assets in fixed income securities, not only for the inherent return characteristics but as a mooring for an entire investment portfolio.

Multiple decades of experience have taught us that active fixed income management is often most valuable in sectors, such as municipals, that are relatively inefficient.

Within the broad fixed income universe, it is our belief that “high grade” fixed income securities provide investors with the most predictable risk/return characteristics.

Experience has shown us that a portfolio’s duration has the single greatest impact on performance and therefore should be managed within a highly disciplined process.

We believe that investors deserve portfolios designed around their individual circumstances and managed to their unique risk/return requirements.
